To me it looks like Deviation will support 10 PPM channel on the trainer port.

I’m sorry for the n00b approach but I cannot get channel 9 and 10 to work. Channel 1 to 8 worked right away by simply plugging in the Dragonlink transmitter and choosing the PPM-protocol.

Could this be a limitation in Dragonlink? Or is this something that might have been addressed in a more recent nightly Deviation build? I’m using Deviation 4.0.1

I think I solved the problem. Updating from 4.0.1 to nightly increased the number of PPM channels from 10 to 12 in the settings.

And apparently I didn’t read the Dragonlink manual well enough. In the binding process the number of channels is included. My system came already bounded… and this was done with 8 channels.

So a firmware update and a rebind gave my all 12 channels.
