Hello,

i am new, and just get an genius cp v2 with a devo 7e.
I read the instructions to install the deviation firmware on 7e.
"NOTE: As a result of memory limitations with the Devo7e firmware, the original models will be lost when switching to Deviation"

I have some questions now:

What does this mean? If i remove the deviation firmware and reinstall the original firmware i can't fly any heli anymore?
Is it possible to reinstall original firmware? Is it possible to save the models before installing deviation?

Jens

Yes and Yes. You can reinstall original firmware. You can save and load original models with DFuse Upgrade tool (at 'Config' tab, one by one).

Ok, thanks for the quick reply
next question now:
how to save the model files from the devo 7e?
I startet the DFuse Upgrade Tool -> Config Tab.
to save the models i have to use the "upload file"?
to upload them into the devo 7e i have to use the "upgrade file" ?

Where can i find which models on the devo 7e saved?
Where can i see which firmware is installed at the moment on the devo 7e?

Right. First, select slot number (model number), then 'upload' to save model to new file or 'upgrade' to load model from selected file. Then select next slot and repeat this process up to your last model.

I don't remember there it is, but you can find Devo 7e version at Tx menu.
