Devo 12s multiple receivers

I have a Devo 12s with the RX1201 RX. Since you can have multiple planes defined in the TX, I am thinking about buying another RX1201 for another plane. My question is can you have multiple RX bond to the same TX? So I would have one RX in plane#1 and another RX in plane#2. By selecting the appropriate plane in the TX would the second RX still be bond. Or does one need to rebind the RX with each use?

How does this play with the fixed ID?

Yeah, you can have a separate receiver for every model (Most people do). If you set a different fixed ID for each, then they will only connect when the correct model is selected, preventing you from trying to fly with the wrong settings for your model.
