Help with configuration files.

I have a new Devo 7e with the following setup.

A7105 Wireless RF 2.4GHz Transceiver Module 3.3V Power Supply Module
2.4G NRF24L01 PA LNA Wireless Module
Connected to
Dual Band 2.4/5.8Ghz 6dBi RP-SMA Directional Wireless Wifi Antenna
Standard switch layout (2)
Deviation software 4.0.1

I downloaded a configuration file and icon from here for my Hubsans X4's (L, C & D) and they work fine, thankyou.

My question is I have the new upgraded Syma X5C-1 and the new JJR/C H8-C quadcopter but I'm unable to find any configuration files for these quads. According to the supported modle list the H8-C is but the X5C-1 isn't but I have seen posts about the Syma but no configuration files.
If anyone could point me in the right direction to getting these two quads off the ground using my 7e it would be much appreciated.

Support for the X5C-1 is new and not yet in an official build. There's a build for the 7e in the above-mentioned thread, as well as configuration information.

Yes I've been using the search function and yes i saw that post about the X5C-1 you highlighted but a lot of it went straight over my head as i'm "just a newbe"
