I have successfully installed the NRF24L01 module.
But I have a few problems.

1. I have the WLtoys V272 and I have to rebind it again and again in the menu.
No matter if I have a fixed ID or not !!
I still have a XINXUN since it binds immediately when I start up, even the RX1002 binds immediately.

2. I can fly well and I have 2 switches placed an expo curve, but how can I turn the light on and off?

3. When the battery is getting empty I have bad reception, but I am only 6 feet away. I use the module without external antenna. THe other module I have ordered.
Can I am V272 install an extra antenna and if so where ??

4. I have a Foxnovo USB dongle for simulator but I can only use it with the original Walkera software.
With the deviation Software of the transmitter is not recognized.

Dear Alex,
This post is unfortunately not an answer to your question.
I just want to add my experience with binding some models:
I posess a devo 7e and a mini cp plus a hubsan X4 and
an align Trex 100.
X4 and align bind without problems but for the mini cp it's not
so simple:
Some .ini files work and some don't bind even if i press the bind
button in the model menu.
i never tried to configurate the fixed id.

1) Don't have a v272 but many of the small quads require binding every power-up. If you're running the nightly version there should be a protocol option to bind when the tx is turned on.

2) Light control should be on channel 5. Flips on channel 6.

4) Is the protocol set to PPM when you try to use the simulator?

1) My V272 always needs to rebind, as does my JXD392.

2) There are several version of the Model.ini for various V2x2 quads here, most of which have the settings for switching on the lights and flips. Lights you just change the value of channel 5 (as stated before); some have done it with a switch, some with a trim button.

Flips are a bit trickier for some 2x2 because you need to be in at least 80% or 100% mode, then enable flips, then you can flip by quickly moving your ele or ail in the direction you want to flip. For my Devo7e, I use SW B to set the rate (60/80/100), then FMODE1 to enable flips. Despite the somewhat unexpected behavior on lower voltage, this quad is really a lot fun to flip.

3) My V272 always acts weird well before I have low voltage or the lights blink I will land as soon as I seen any signs of control loss and I time my flights to stay under 3:30.

Deviation Devo7e 3way switch mod, A7105, NRF24L01
Devo6s 2x2 switch mod, trim mod, haptic, multimodule, A7105, NRF24L01, CC2500
Devo12e 4-in-1 with voice mod -- it speaks!!

Thanks for the tips.
I put the log on PPM and it works very well on the simulator, Thank you.

The other things I have not yet tested.
