How to safely disconnect TX from windows PC?

I was wondering what's the easiest, safe way to plug/unplug my Devo 7E from the computer.

Before, when it was connected (usb mode, editing files manually), i would turn the TX off and turn on to use/test. At times it would corrupt the main INI's. Now cause i'm so worried i click on "eject drive" on the computer, then turn it off.

I was wondering, is there a safe way to disconnect drive/turn tx on without having to eject from the pc first?

generally you should press the eject icon to be sure.
I've never had the issue you described, but the problem is entirely on the windows side. It is not writing to the drive immediately which means the file-system isn't yet written. there really isn't anything we can do from the Tx side (that I know of).

First click on "eject drive" on the computer, then turn it off !

I am not surprised, as this happens with any other USB-storage device as well.

Trust me:
Always click "eject drive" on the computer before disconnecting it!
