DEVO 7 HELP NEWBIE ON THE BLOCK

Hi guys I purchased a DEVO 7 thinking this would just connect to my SYMA quads, can anybody explain in simple terms what I need to do to make this work. Do I need to get a NRF24L01 Module if so where can I purchase the correct one that will fit the Devo 7 Thank you for any help.

The Devo7 has not the suitable hardware for Deviation.

So will this transmitter only work with Walkera helicopters/planes/quadcotpers.

BTW you mean 7E

First you have to deviate it- that means install the open source FW from this site. Even then it still wont fly your Syma (but it will fly WAY more than walkera stuff with only the FW upgrade, no HW mods) To be able to fly a Syma you have to physically open up the body and install a NFR24L01+ module, make the needed changes in the hardware file and then you can bind to Syma.
