Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

No, you can't replace the stock module with the A7105. They are completely different things.
If you check the wiki ModuleList , you'll find links to three different CYRF6936 modules. Any of those should work. The first one is used in the Devo 6/8/10/12s, and while it won't plug into the 7e board, I believe it has been wired in successfully. Neither of the other two will plug in directly either, but they might be less expensive or smaller.
In the future, please only post once, and give people a day or two to answer.

Where is the second post..? ...... refering to that....
In case the protective coating of the traces is not physically damaged, your module can be rescued by a person with soldering skills.
There are some shorts now. Removing the solder blob plus some of these solder splashes and restarting the work with a short wire will certainly help.

He doesn't appear to be very active on the site.
A PM might be a better way to find out from him.

Hi there, I have a devo 7e transmitter and I just bought a 8s module and the people who sold it to me are telling me that you can not replace the devo 7e module with an 8s. How did you find out how to do is there any links to a video or info on how to do the install?
Also just want to confirm that this 8 module does definitely work in the devo 7e?
