Thanks to my deviated Devo 7E, I now have 6 toy quad transmitters gathering dust and taking up space

Have you guys found some creative uses for your old transmitters or do you just throw them away?

Post for sale, donation, or pay-it-forward in classified sections here and over on RCGroups.com . They could come in handy for someone that has damaged theirs somehow.
...or you could harvest the transceivers for DEVO mods if they are suitable.

Most I toss in the junk bin however one of them I totally covered in
RGB LED's, hooked them to the stick POT's so they lit up in all different colors when you move the sticks (some get brighter with the sticks, some get dimmer) and gave that one to my 3 year old.

Well, I don't buy many of the toy-grade quads, so don't get a lot of them. And most of those wind up staying in the spare parts bin.

The better ones I tend to sell locally via craigslist. Mostly to local makers for use in quads. I'm planning on dragging my latest collection (a trio of Joysway yacht Tx's) to the next meeting.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.
