Dev 7e Module mod gone bad was created by Dante1
Hello everyone,
I have a Devo 7e with the range mod. I tried to bind a DSM2 RX and no go. The LED constantly blinks as if it never communicated. I know it's not the ID because it would go through the bind process and then the LED would go off. I read somewhere that I can replace the module with a Devo 8 module. Is this correct? Where can I find one?
Thanks in advance.

Do you know if I have to remove the old module and install the new one?

Yes, you at least need to disconnect the old one, which is the same...

I don't have a diagram, but the module installation guides for the Devo8 and 7e do contain assigned pins:
