Any thought on this transmitter? Instead of modding a Devo 7E/10 I might just get the TH9x and buy different modules for it like the 4 in 1 multiprotocol module. What do you guys think? Will this be better than modding the Devo 10?

It is up to personal preference. Devo approach allows all the protocols preloaded into the transmitter whilst the multiprotocol module approach has limited preloaded protocols due to memory constraint. You can read further here
