devo 7e deviation configuration

This is my first quadcopter and I have run into a wall. I have flashed the deviation software successfully and bound it with my lemon rx dsmx reciever. My sticks control the proper channels through CLEANFLIGHT and I have calibrated everything to the best of my knowledge. However, I cannot program my switches nor can I arm my quadcopter.
