Nightlies version number was created by Chimera

Hello there, brand new to Deviation so sorry for the basic question - Does the version number (on the splash screen and the About screen) change when a nightly is installed? I installed v5.0.0 then pushed the latest nightly on top, but the version didn't change in either location. No errors and everything looks ok, but how do you know what version you're running?

Depending on the transmitter type, the whole menu system is different between the v5 and the nightly.

There is an USB screen in the transmitter menu (in case of the official v5) or the main menu (in case of the nightly build), where you can find the deviation version.
If there are some other letters after the version number, then that is a nightly build, for example:
devo8-v5.0.0 -> official build
devo8-v5.0.0-cd42b13 -> nightly build

I have a 7E, and USB is on the Main Menu but just gives the "Press ENT to turn the USB drive On". Main Menu also has "About Deviation" but that shows the FW version is "devo7e-v5.0.0" with no letters after it. I'll try the upgrade to the Nightly again.
