SPMAR9020 receiver and SRXL was created by George_Baker
I'm using a Spektrum SPMAR9020 9 channel receiver that has a SRXL connector on it. I'm also using a DEVO 12s transmitter with a May 4, 2017 version 5 nightly deviation on it. The Spirit gyro I'm also using can accept SRXL output and the Spirit developer says that I should be able to get all the channels the transmitter has to offer but doesn't know if it will work because I'm not using a genuine Spektrum transmitter.
Does anybody know what will happen with the configuration I just described? Will the SRXL work at all with the Walkera TX?

Yes it will work, SRXL is same form of serial protocol that used at Spektrum sat receivers, but with checksum.
