Devo 7e Getting Very Hot was created by Sore_Piles_FPV
So I added the NRF24L01 module, and it all went very well, tested the connections with a multi-meter and all is good.
About an hour after I'd put everything back together I picked the transmitter up and it was hot, like crazy hot even though it had been switched off.

I'm thinking that as I put it back I may have pinched a power cable causing a short or something, is anyone familiar with anything similar?

Thanks

Something must be wrong, somewhere, with yours. I have a Devo 7e which I added a NRF24L01 module to and it doesn't get hot like that.

Getting hot while it is off means there must be a short circuit somewhere. Check that your soldering doesn't electrically touch other unintended contacts.

Yeah, I covered all the new solder points with liquid electrical, I'll check for pinched wires tonight.
