How to hack Code?

First of all happy thanksgiving to you all and may God bless you all richly.I wanted to know if there is a tutorial online any where that has a tutorial on hacking protocol codes for deviation,this is something I would like to get into and contribute.Thanks in advance.

Thank you,I know how to take captures maybe this will help me grab the concept and comprehend the ins and outs.

The really really really short summary:
Step 1) read up spi basics
Step 2) setup spi analyzer in saleae logic and export hex to text file
Step 3) run the hex file through the format spi perl script provided in the deviating repository utils directory
Step 4) check the perl scripts output and see what happens in data packets and how rf channels are changed.
Step 5) if you know how packets look and how/what channels are hopped through, take a look at the timing of the protocol

Yup. Also look at existing protocols for the same module, many are just variants of others.

It is in the folder utils/spi of the deviation repository. Clone it or download the entire repository, as the perl script also uses other files from the repository.

Thanks.I wanted to know do I export the hex to text with the default export settings with csv.I'm also still trying to find the deviation repository.

Thank you hexfet,I ain't even get started understanding the basic concept yet,I am so consumed at my job right now I haven't really had time to read up on hacks yet.I can take captures and truly hope this bugs 3 gets implemented.If I can help with any equipment to help get this implemented,I will gladly contribute.
