Another 12s problem was created by Birdman
Sorry guys. Trying to sort out and familiarise myself with 12s
Have been flying as many as 7 different helis with 8s for many years, including Genius CP V2.
Just setup Genius CP V2 on 12s with all exact same settings as on 8s for this heli (on std gui).
Why are ail and ele reversed?????????? Not direction, ail is on ele stick and ele is on ail stick.
TIA

Check the mode setting under Transimitter Menu->Tranimiter Config->Mode?

Maybe i've missed something. Admittedly a bit rusty with Deviation, mostly use my Taranis these days. Got the 12s for a price that was to good to refuse. $65USD unused with aluminium case and 1202 rx.

Now that I think about it it can't be in wrong mode anyways. None swap ail and ele, that just wouldn't work.

Having done some testing I believe it is a channel order issue.

Yeah, channel order is all over the shop. For all protocols as far as I have checked.
edit: guess I will have to go through the process of formatting "again" and make sure it is not the txid upsetting the apple cart "again".

devo channel order initially correct EATR (adv gui heli)
when i changed to std gui channel order changed to AETR

If I revert back to Adv GUI: ELE -> Cyclic2, AIL->Cyclic1
Probably cyclic mixing is wrong. But, I don't touch it at all, it has state as for 5.0.0 release.

Just when through process again.
Model1, change to std gui, no other changes, channel order did not change.
Then also changed to different model number and channel order did in fact change from EATR to AETR.
There is a bug.
Now I will upgrade with proper 5.0.0 release and confirm.

I'm done, to many bugs.
Have been going in circles for days now.

The equations used for cyclic1 and cyclic2 are swapped except when swashtype is none. It hasn't been fixed because it would break existing model files. See the thread and links

Thanks.
Read the threads and it is pretty much over my head. About all I got from it was there is no proper fix for the problem as a whole.
I am also confused why this issue does not exist on 8s, particularly after being told they share the same code?
