Good Morning

like a dumd ass i did not back up my files to my transmitter and now I am paying for it I am able to get into the DFU mode but I am unable to format the drive F: so now its in stuck mode USB and device manager says USB storage drive.

and I downloaded correct firmware for the control how do I know if it is bricked now and if it is how do I fix that.

vou tentar ajudar.
1-modo dfu e uma coisa ,modo usb e outra coisa.
2-como sabe se firmware e o correto??? foi daqui do forum fez download ??
3-qual versao firmware??
4-se esta tendo essses problemas o mais certo e o firmware nao ser o correto,
eu tive todos esses problemas tambem.
5-nao formate ainda ,se o windows nao pedir.
6-nao panic ,sei bem o que esta passando amigo.

I downloaded the firmware from the form and used Ts8g v2 plus and after that it stay in USB mode and i did the lipusb software on my computer and that still did not work for me to log onto my transmitter.

Ok I tried that about ten times and nothing

sabe entrar modo dfu ?
ou esta bloqueado em modo usb,
veija gestor dispositivos se aparece em dfu.
consegue ver ficheiros dentro cartao (modo usb)?

i was able to get pass that and update firmware and format control and place correct files in there.,

1. If you are using a MAC then forget it, you will NEVER fix this problem as the MAC is the thing causing it.

2. Assuming you have access to a Windows PC then search through my posts and you will find the link to the correct build where the up down process described by Vlad actually works.

Sorry Vlad the nightlies don't work. The original build you posted ages ago does.

why can we not leave dfu files in here?

the firmware that works best for me is t8sg_v2-v5.0.0-487d7be1

After my BRAND NEW Jumper T8SG plus v3 (LCD screen) suffered the dreaded USB screen of death after only a single use, I spent several late nights trying fruitlessly to fix it. In my case, I found the main problem was that connecting the Jumper to my PC resulted in the wrong driver being installed which meant that I couldn't sucessfully format the drive or proceed with firmware installation.

I finally figured out a fix and documented it in the attached PDF. I hope it helps someone save a lot of time and frustration!
