Hi Cereal_Killer,

the command is just "tar -xzf filename" where filename is the file you downloaded. but better switch in that folder first via "cd foldername" as the tar command will create a subfolder. I will try and find some time to rebuild the MinGW environment and release a new version as things have changed a bit ;)

I released the version 1.2 (see first post) that includes the new toolchain / updates... and is compatible with Windows 10 x64. If you have any issues just post on this topic.
Kind regards

Thanks RugWarrior.
With this installer Is everything installed under the one directory?
The reason I ask is I have already installed the latest toolchain and don't want it to get overwritten.

Everything will be extracted to C:\MinGW (also the toolchain). So it does not matter if you already have a toolchain installed :)

Downloaded the MinGW virtual and installed it.
Had source from a nightly about a week ago
Started compiling
Tried compiling for devo7e and get the message that the file is 128 bytes to large. What is the solution to this? Do I need to use a different toolchain or some switches to get this to compile. I see the nightlies are still compiling for devo7e so there must be a way that this can be done.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm not planning to support this build environment anymore. Instead check out the docker thread and install that environment instead.

Just for the record, the most likely issue is that you've gotten the wrong version of the ARM compiler. The newer one generate larger code, and the 7e is down to bytes of free space. The last one that still worked is several years of our date.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
