I think I fixed USBHID on Mac OSX was created by sier
I opened a pull request on Github
github.com/DeviationTX/deviation/pull/403

The bug was in some very very old code. Deviation identified itself as USBHID mouse.

I verified this fixes the problem with my Devo 7E on macOS High Sierra (10.13.4).

More testing (especially on Windows and Linux) appreciated ;)

I thought showing up as a mouse would be useful when we use the Devo x Tx for flight simulator. :)

Then we won't need the usb-serial dongle.

It still works this way, it just doesn't identify itself as an USBHID Mouse but as an USBHID something instead. Basically works the same, but doesn't mess osx up :)
