Based on the idea of Vlady i have ordered now the SST25VF032B -But i want to have it switchable back so i decide to order some SOIC adapter boards - and i hope i am able to switch with the VDD connection from the original to the "ultimate"-version.
(I have the walkera 350 premium and i will bring this little bird step by step to Deviation)

At the moment not done three menu items: "D/R & Exp", "Throttle curves" and "Pitch curves". If you have unmoded Devo F12E or Devo F7, you can test all implemented fixes with today Nightly Build. Do not touch "D/R & Exp" menu item, transmitter will reboot.

*Fixed XY-graph placeholder overlay "Splash" page for Devo F12E
At boot time empty XY-graph placeholder overlay "Splash" and "Safety Warning" pages and cut off portion of image.

You have made a lot of progress, can't wait to give it a try!
Finally the 4MB flash chip arrived, a quick comparison with the soldered in flash chip showed the difference in chip size you mentioned.
Well, steady hands for the win

I could not find why Mixer GUI "Standard" - "D/R & Expo" page crashes with "text" GUI, though it has the same code with Devo 10, so be careful. Perhaps someone else will be able to fix it.
Other known bug: model "Icon" load/change page doesn't display icon image.

I made it accessible again, pull request placed. Be aware the layout is still uncorrected, I leave that to you.
Since I have no write access to the repo, I cannot merge the pull request.

At first glance all pages fixed.
Known bugs:
* Model "Icon" load/change page doesn't display icon image.
* D/R can't be greater 100%, with 102% transmitter freeze and reboot. Probably it can be related to XY-graph.
* At "Throttle curves" and "Pitch curves" pages, value fields for inactive YX-graph points have not any visible highlight or cursor.
P.S. Advanced mixers have XY-graphs

I just installed the 4MB chip, all went well.
I followed your advice to bend the chip pins pretty straight, put fresh solder at the pads and the chip pins, pretty easy soldering it in. I Just "securded" it with a bit of hot glue.
After installing deviation the "unusual way" for a F12E with formatting the tx drive in windows and putting the files on deviation booted fine
Also copying my models over went well, 4in1 modules is working!
I will test now a few "bugs" that occured to me on former nightlies.
Thank you for your work, vlad!!
