v922/fbl100-7e-140ºswash-custom layout was created by HappyHarry
today we had a break in the weather here that finally allowed some outdoor flying time, so i got my fbl100 ini setup how i like it, keep in mind that i have the 3way switch mod so i have 3 throttle and 4 pitch curves, i also have the layout editor enabled and i've changed the main screen layout with it, and that changes are also included in the ini. you can always just copy out the relevant parts your after instead of using the complete ini. you'll need to rename the file as the forum doesn;t accept ini's as attachments

i have also added a version of this ini for a 7e with no switch mods, this file is called fbl100-stock7e.ini.txt

hi, I'm new here.
A7105 is not for FlySky/Hubsan?
nRF24L01 should be used for V922.
I made the A7105 mod to a DEVO 7e, with a module harvested from a V913 Tx. It is working on the V913 itstelf and on Hubsan X4 (old version - no motor LEDs).
mow I ordered a nRF24L01 module to make the mod also for my V922.
Am I wrong with something?
Tnx

yes I only mentioned the a7105 because I was waiting for that to arrive before I removed the dog hair that got trapped inside when I fitted my nrf24l01+ module ;)

Oh I understand now.
I only used the wl-t6 adaptor to contoll V922 with DEVO 7e. Pls tell me, you are pleased how's your 7e working with nRF24L01+ module?

yes using the internal nrf24l01+ with deviation is much better than using the wl-t6/ht-8 module, i found when using the ht-8 module the servo movement was jittery/stuttered but this does not happen when using deviation/nrf24l01+ :)

Is that the only internal module you have installed? I have the A7105 in mine and want to put one to fly the Hisky models but didnt know if there was any jittery movements with both modules installed.

no I also have an a7105 internal module, the wl-t6/ht8 is an external module provided by hisky/wltoys, it uses the ppm output of the trainer port. the jittery servos has nothing to do with deviation or the internal modules, it's only an issue with the wl-t6/ht8 ;)

HappyHarry, I took your screen layout and made it a template. It goes in the /layout folder, so it could be used by all even if they are not using your screen editor enabled builds.

HappyHarry thanks again for the standard Devo 7e version :)

If someone noob like me could be interested this is my config for the HCP100 / Devo 7e with no extra switch noob friendly.

It has quite a bit of EXPO (35) in normal mode as I found the v922 quite twitchy compared to my gentle SuperCP with gyro at 9 o'clock.

In IDLE1 it has less EXPO (25) and more SCALE / servo travel, enought even for me to roll the bird AND have some chances to hold the bird in inverted hovering for orientation training.

Do note that THOLD is away from you, in HOLD0, as I find that on the small Devo 7e is easier for me to hit THOLD with my thumb as i move away from throttle. Be sure to change that if that's not your thing.

So all switch AWAY FROM YOU / UP you are safe to insert the battery, when the gyro is OK check that throttle stick IS DOWN then you can take down THOLD ad get airborne.

Each time you are about to take off just be sure that every switch is away from you and throttle is down.

This should get you hovering if there's not much wind, in that case (be safe and wait for next time) consider lower the EXPO. Same thing if you fell like hovering indoor (just don't if u're noob like me): you have to lower the expo (say 10/15) as soon as you start anything harder than tail-in hovering or you just won't be able to recover and will only over-compensate to a crash by the other side.

Notes: it's based on advanced mixers so you have:
3-THR as throttle
4-RUD as rudder
CYC-AIL as Aileron (left right)
CYC-ELE as elevator (forward backward)
CYC-COL as pitch

Doesn't the V922 need a 120º swash config even though it physically looks like a 140º setup? I've seen this subject debated on RCG with no definitive answer. 140º is working for you guys?

the heli will fly either way, but there will be swash interaction, but when using an internal nrf module and the hisky protocol on my 7e with a 140deg swash it shows no unwanted swash interaction on my v922, but when using 120deg on that setup it does, but the opposite of that is true when using the wl-t6 on my JR dsm9x in that 120deg has no interaction and 140deg does

I am so lost on the V922 ini files. Please help where in the world is the pitch curve setting? I only see throttle and cyc-col still don't know the difference. Where is the throttle curve at since both of these are throttle setting in them?
I used the newbie ini file model22 i think it was and it has no negative pitch. I used harry file and the thing will not stop even at -100 throttle. Pulling my hair out and frustration setting in. I just want to use the basic cp setting you know -100 on the throttle stick means no power and as you move it towards center it spin at 0 pitch and throttle movement up or down controls the pitch unless you are in FMode1 or Fmode 2. I just need to know where is the crazy pitch curve channel and where is the real throttle curve channel. PLEASE HELP

strange as it may seem the throttle curves are in the 'throttle curves' menu, and the pitch curves are in the 'pitch curves' menu

and as for how you want it to work that how my ini is set up, are you sure you have your fmode switch in the right position for normal mode?

LOL    :woohoo: I don't know how to post the pics on this forum but I am on the devo 8s and those are not the same menu that I got. Lucky for me I saw the light and figured it out. Cyc-col is the pitch curve and channel 3 is the throttle curve. The Virtual channel 4 threw me for a big loop. Hmm notice you have the gyro menu I don't have that gyro option on mine does the V922 have gyro control on the transmitter? I hear it was on either channel 5 or 7? When my battery is at mid level and I slam on the throttle my tail can't keep up so the heli does a 360 spin and crash.

heh the '7e' in the thread title as well as the pic of my main screen should have gave you a hint that this ini is for the devo 7e bud lol, and it's also set to use the standard GUI, (which I'm not positive is available on the 8) that's why my menu's are different, and unfortunately there is no gyro gain adjustment on the v922 :( though like yourself there are many who wish there was, including me.

Thanks for the reply but now I transformed your ini file to work with my devo 8s. Didn't know where to start but now everything is great and I have full understanding of the model layout. Geez wish they would allow gyro gain but I guess I have to upgrade to the brushless tail motor and program the esc to have some gyro gain. What is the point if you throttle up and your tail spin out of control. Slowly flying my heli now until my brushless motor comes in.   Grandpa pilot mode :woohoo: :woohoo:
