jumper t8sg v3 plus telemetry alarm not beeping

Hello all,
I successfully bound my bugs 3 to my transmitter and everything is working fine except for the telemetry. The telemetry is viewable on the transmitter and it blinks during an alarm, but the transmitter does not beep. Is there something I missed when setting up the telemetry alarm? Thanks in advance.

Have you checked your volume settings ?

By the way, you can add full voice support to the radio by simply installing an SD-Card along with the voice files. Look under the Wiki section for voice support

Yes, I have full volume for everything. I just want beeping, not any speech. I will also note that the transmitter does not make any noise when turning on, but when I press the trim buttons, it does make beeps.

UPDATE:
I was able to fix this by editing two lines in the hardware.ini file in the transmitter.
In your hardware.ini file, change voice to have no value, and change voice-uart5 to have a value of 1, like so:

and

voice-uart5=1.

Now it beeps and buzzes!
