Diatone 150 quad? was created by kchupe
Does someone have a config for a Diatone 150 sized quad? The exact model I have is the Lizard and it's a racing quad. If not then is there a basic setup I can use and modify according to my preference?

It's difficult to find a config file for a DIY quad, because everyone used different RX and FC board on their own quad.

I understand everyone might use different components but I'm using a Afro Naze 32 FC which is a popular flight control board. And just having a basic configuration file I can fine tune would be a big help.

Here's mine. Devo10, Armattan 258, Naze, Cleanflight, DSMX

Cleanflight is set up with acro/horizon/auto-level on channel 5, beeper on channel 6, and in-flight adjustments on 7 and 8.

I am using the orange receiver 616xn nano which is a cppm and 6 channel. Thks should be s good start I hope. I am having a real difficult time figuring out how to decipher the menu settings and all. I've read the manual but I get lost real easy. I am new to the hobby so it is quite confusing with all these settings. I'm used to the Devo 7 which had a really simple menu in comparison to the Deviation menu

Deviation is jumping into the deep end for a newcomer, but so is Cleanflight. Really you could start with the default model and just add on as you learn.

If this is your very first R/C then recommend getting an inexpensive RTF like Syma X1/X5 or Hubsan X4 or another from the supported models list to keep a smile on your face while you climb the learning curve.

I have my quad bound and flying it now. Thanks for the suggestion of the hubsan and syma but I'm perfectly happy flying race grade quads. I also have the Walkera Runner 250 Advannced which I fly FPV as well. I still will try to get it to bind hopefully but for now at least my Diatone binds and flys. I also had a buddy help me out with configuring my Naze 32 FC. BTW hexfet, thanks for sharing your config file as I have utilized it and modified it to suite my needs for the Diatone!
