I understand the Rodeo 110 is running Betaflight. In Deviation, from the transmitter, you can create a usable model straightaway. As always, test the results with the props removed.
  1. From the Model Setup menu on the transmitter, create a new model from the template "6Ch Airplane".. I know that's not very intuitive, but basically for Cleanflight or Betaflight Flight controllers you want to send an unmodified signal to the FC and let the FC do the fancy stuff. (Note: the template *may* have dual rates in some transmitters, so be sure to check your mixers)
  2. Once you have that template and your model set up with the right protocol, you need to bind according to the manufacturer's recommendation.
  3. Then for most CF/BF FCs you can set up a switch to arm before you fly... in this template, Gear0/1 is the switch set to Aux1; set CF/BF to arm on AUX1 over 1500 and you're good to go.
  4. If you want multiple flight modes, you can use AUX2, and Mix0/1/2 will provide values of about 1159, 1500 and 1841, perfect for Angle, Horizon and whatever else you want.

The Devo7e is sold with just two switches, so you have to decide how to assign them. For simplicity, maybe Hold1 for Arm, and FMode for the flight modes. For the Devo 8/10/12 you have all the basic switchest, and the template should work right away.

Let us know how it goes... if you have working configuration, please post it to this thread for other users.

Deviation Devo7e 3way switch mod, A7105, NRF24L01
Devo6s 2x2 switch mod, trim mod, haptic, multimodule, A7105, NRF24L01, CC2500
Devo12e 4-in-1 with voice mod -- it speaks!!
