GS-XXD158 Small Drone was created by Fer
I got this little drone many months ago. It is a nice flyer, beautiful too, and the tx it comes with is not as terrible as many others.
But still compared to Devo... well, does anyone know what protocol it comes with?

The same as usual: make some pictures from tx or drone pcb so we now what rf chip is used. Then we work on from there.

Here are two pics from the inside of the tx. I think this is not one of our favorite rf chips...

I hope this is enough to determine if it can be deviated or not, as the drones board can not be easily viewed. This thing has so many tiny screws holding the frame :)

Can you try XN297DUMP on it? I attached a devo10 build for you to load. Once flashed select a free model and select protocol XN297DUMP. After turning on the toy transmitter, go to Transmitter Menu -> XN297 Dump, press right once to select "Scan" and press ENT. See if the scan stops on a channel and the bottom status changes to "Valid CRC found". If no success, you can try changing data rate to 250 kbps in the protocol options and run the scan again.

I installed it. I am getting no valid CRC for either 250k, 1Mb, or 2Mb. I sporadically get some values for 2Mb, but not a valid CRC at all. I have left it scan through all channel for all options, and didn't get anything.

Most likely not a xn297 device then. And markings on the ic you can make out?

One more thing: you could also try xn297dump with protocol option scrambled set to off. I doubt it will work though

It didn't work with scramble off either. I am only getting a couple of random readings on 2Mbits, but no valic CRC,
