There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

Anyone looked at the chip they use? Could it be a possible candidate for running on deviation? I have a tx unit that I just burnt out so I can take it apart and check, but if it's already been deemed unworthy then I'll save myself the trouble.
If it did work, it would allow a lot of models to be flown...
Cheers

I have one around. I think it is an nrf24l01 (but maybe a cc2500?). Either way, it appears it will need a different module to use.
It is on my todo list

I started looking at it. The nrf24l01 which is used for anylink is annoying to use because it requires an extra pin which I don't have available. You can work around this in non-timing critical situations but I'm not yet sure if it is possible for the anylink yet.

Personally I don't see much Bang for the Buck on this protocol anymore. I mean for $20 you can buy an anylink module and use PPM to it. If it were super easy, and on a module that we are already using then sure...
The big pay off will be frsky... long range 8 channel telemetry RX for $25! WIN...

Thank you it will bind. I don't know how to set my channels, I think. Ail seem to operate correctly but collective is all wrong and don't know what to do.
Thanks

I don't think so.
Use advanced then for every channel verify and change the source accordingly. Don't be afraid, it's easy.

Thank you. But I am lost. Throttle and pitch seem to be okay now, I am playing with it but Ail and ele are not good. If and Once I stumble on the correct settings, the gui must remain on advanced? Ive never used or needed to use advanced and am lost.

I don't understand "copy to". Is this my problem. I can't find my throttle channel and cyclic 2 and 1 means? At this time, when I use my Ail, my motor starts. Can't someone take several minutes and help me?
I am just asking for some minor help, please.

I see others being helped all the time. I don't understand why someone will not reach out to help me. I am sure I can pick it up if I just had some minor direction, please.

What transmitter are you using?
This is for Devo7E/Devo10:
1. Go to Model config/Mixer. You'll see something like this. Navigate to the type of the mixer associated with the channel, in this case 'Simple'
2. Press the button and you'll have something like this. You can clearly see 'Src' there, meaning Source. Press left/right until you have the correct source for the channel. Vlad provided the correct order in a post above.
Oh, and btw it's weekend so the forums are usually a bit slow, have patience.

Pitch is usually on channel 6 and has a source of THR.
So you understand, every channel can either have a source or a fixed value. Source can be another channel, or hardware inputs.
This is a quick summary of the sources you can have:
a) Sticks:
AIL
ELE
THR
RUD
b) Switches:
AIL DR0,1,2
ELE DR0,1,2
FMODE0,1,2
etc
c) Channels:
Ch1 - ChX
Virt1 - VirtX
On a heli pitch is controlled by the THR stick. Position of said switch can be 1-to-1 value (like -100 to 100) or it can be mapped on a curve.
Most of the time, you create a curve, the simplest being a 3 point: -10, 0, 50 for example, and use it. Lowest position of the THR stick the maps to -10 and highest to 50.
Keep in mind these values are just pulled out of my a$$ and most likely they are not optimal.

thank you. Yes, I know I can be impatient. Apologies.
I am making progress now, thank you. Only Pitch ch I can not locate. I think all else is taking shape.
Ive never used anything but the standard set up screen.

TBH you should never use standard. It kind locks you in a friendly and familiar box and you never learn anything.
Plus, complex is the "power to you" kind.
