Hello again.
I chose to keep the Nasa 701 intact for reference. When a problem occur I can always check if its a radio issue by binding the X3V to NASA701.
As i now get 150m range I have more than enough for The X3V.
I could get some pictures from inside my Devo-10 if that could be helpful?
About the module You are using, I also bought that one and another one -but chose to go with Skyartec. But from one of the other modules I used the antenna and antennawire.
Anyway I hope You get it too work soon!

Currently you cannot change it from the menu (yet).
There is a pull request on Bitbucket to increase the default output to about 80mW. However it means you have to build the software yourself. bitbucket.org/PhracturedBlue/deviation/p...output-skyartec/diff
If you PM me your email address I shall email you the firmware with the fixed 80mW output (which is what Stein uses).

HI..
Just a little correction. The firmware You made for me RandMetal I do not use anymore. After I got the antenna soldered to the Skyartec module i installed the last nightly build - getting enough distance with that setup.

Good to know, it again shows the improvement that a good external antenna gives compared to a short internal pigtail.

This discussion and also one about power output was happening here some time ago. Take a look:

Hi, I'm posting here for next statistic record, I bought XL2500-D03 on ebay (as suggested in manual
here
) and I had also real problem with TX output power (worked for really short range), I followed cmpang's
advice
and connected Vcc to pin 5 on module (instead of to pin 10) and problem is gone.
On PCB are pins marked as 5-RFC and 10-PAEN, quite misleading.
