It sure would be nice if someone found settings needed to fly the HolyStone HS170 Predator and the new HS170C Predator 2. These are both great flying drones that are very popular and which I believe use the A7105 module with either the Hubsan or Flysky protocols.
The quads would be an awesome and much appreciated addition to the current Deviation supported models and I hope someone figures this one out soon.
Thanks, and soft landings.

Yeah, I have been hoping to find those settings for a while now.

That won't happen automagically, someone has to check which rf IC is in the Tx first, then provide a dump if this chip is supported.

i Have photos of the board and the IC. It is a 16 pin set up but has no identifying maker or part number. I can provide the photos staright away but don't have the skills to dump the chip. I can send you the board if you would like to try to decode it.

Please send pictures of the boards (TX & Quad), even if there's no marking on ICs.

to me it seems you need to focus your camera and can read the chips

I get that the photo could be better but I assure you, the chips have been etched or bleached. I've tried different lighting and no go. I will try a uv at work Monday. I have a good magnifier and in white light its just an illegible shadow. I'll get some clearer pics with a better photo rig and re up, but it wont help with the chip label.

I'm not 100% sure but looks like Panchip ICs (xn297l compatible).
Can you read PAN159CY on the bigger IC in the quad ?
Anyway, there's no SPI bus, if someone can send one to a dev maybe it can be deviated.

Trust me...you can't read the chip labels...
I think it would be a blessing to all the folks that like this drone to have an open tx option; and I'm not at all pleased with the fact that the maker has gone to some lengths to disguise the chips.
Taken together, these points make this easy...shoot me an address and I'll drop ship the boxed drone to the dev team.

I'll send you my address in PM, I believe this is XN297L compatible, but I can't be sure if the marking is unreadable, so there's no guaranty I will succeed.

That's a tlsr8368 MCU with builtin RF transceiver, I've never seen one before, no idea if it can be emulated with one of our 4 supported transceiver until someone dumps the signal with a SDR device.
I can take a look if someone sends one to me, but without any guaranty I can make it work with Deviation.

unfortunately I cannot buy another one at the moment..
hopefully someone else will read this thread and send one in
I read that the previous poster was going to send an HS170 , do you think the protocol will be the same as HS170G ?

if it can be useful I found the datasheet and product brief for the TLSR8368 (that is in the transmitter) :
www.telink-semi.com/2-4g
on the drone receiver board there is the TLSR8568 instead, which I only found referenced here:
