Cheerson CX35 was created by ajtank
Other than JXD506, H26WH, H28WH and Q303, Cheerson CX35 is another quadcopter with moving camera gimbal. The movement is controlled by a slider on the stock transmitter. It features altitude hold and the throttle stick is always centred. It has one takeoff button for arming and another descend button for landing.
I am unable to bind CX35 with existing protocols. I have uploaded SPI captures here
a) power up / throttle up / throttle down / bind
b) takeoff button / throttle up / throttle centre / descend button / throttle down
c) slider centre / slider up / slider centre / slider down / slider centre
Appreciate any feedback, thank you.

As for the Q303, this is a totally new protocol.
I can take a look but having captures from only 1 stock transmitter probably won't allow to fully crack those protocols.

Looks like the latest captures went wrong, only the first one is fine so I do not have the "take off" flag to make a test build.

Here's a first test build:
www.dropbox.com/sh/rtlponu4hcctzcr/AABsu...zHk87LdpioQxP7a?dl=0
Select Q303 protocol and CX35 format option, I'm not sure at all it does work as the captures are pretty confusing.
Channel 5: arm (takeoff/descend)
Channel 7: snapshot
Channel 8: video
Channel 11: camera gimbal (should be assigned to a pot)
I couldn't find the RTH flag in your RTH capture ...

Thanks for the build. It can bind but cannot take off. Is take off = +100 and descend or idle = -100?
I will re-capture the RTH again tomorrow after work. It is now close to midnight and the quad is just so noisy.

Take off is supposed to be >0 (so, +100 is fine).
Well, at least it binds, that's a good beginning ...
Please make another capture where you just bind, take off then descend, without touching anything else.

Also, can auto altitude hold be disabled ?

No, it cannot be disabled. The throttle stick is always centred. It also does not have headless mode.

FYI, most of those "toy grade" protocols are using 1 way communication, you can capture with the quad turned off, that doesn't matter.

Oh I don't know this. If it is 1-way communication then the RTH as well as other commands will be transmitted even without binding. This will save a lot of work.
I also got a spare receiver board. I can ship it to you after the trial build is ok. However if the algorithm is similar to Q303 then you probably do not need it.

After loading the new build the binding becomes unstable. Binding is not 100% successful. Even if it binds, it lasts for a short time say 5s only. However I can take off during the short binding duration. I also have uploaded another RTH capture.

Ok, I think I understand why it is unstable, please retry with this updated version:
www.dropbox.com/sh/rtlponu4hcctzcr/AABsu...zHk87LdpioQxP7a?dl=0
Also, I think it's on low rate as it is now, can you confirm that ?
The dumps are quite confusing, I don't understand all the flags thoroughly.

The binding is now stable. I however cannot determine if it is now low rate without flying outside. My last captures were all at high rate.
If you can detect the RTH flag in my last capture then I will redo the capture once again without the quad.
