It should already work in deviation actually, just map Aileron stick to channel 6 (might need reverse, to be checked ...)

I updated the Devo12 build, the 6th channel is removed and aileron trim is now driven automatically, it should be easier to fly indoor.

What I did is to simply send the same command to aileron and trim. This way you can do tight turns!

Hello
I flew today with the C-17; but there is a small error in the mix "engine, ailerons". Let me explain: in flight with the engine the ailerons are reversed. on the other hand engine cut the ailerons are in the good sense ?? !!!
Mixing with the radio it is possible to put everything in order but if everything was ok at first, it would be easier ...;) :sifflet:

Is it with the last version I posted (b760436) ?
it should require no extra mix (Channel 6 doesn't exist anymore)

Test flight today; everything is back in order. I will do an indoor test to see if there is a difference. Thank you again for your work;

I've done another test flight this WE with my friend's C17 in the gymnase.
I've added a mixer on the throttle channel to add the elevator. Like this when you pull the elevator the plane climbs, it's easier when doing turns where you have the throttle fixed and use the elevator to maintain the altitude like any other plane.
With the mixer between aileron and trim, I confirm that you can do tight turns to the point that the plane is nearly at 90°and turning within a 2m circle when pushing the throttle to max.

Possibly a dumb question I am very new to this forum.
I'm certain the Devo12 is the high end Deviation transmitter with many extra features, but I bought the Jumper t8SG. Is there a way to get this protocol control scheme into the jumper set?
is it capable?
Thank you in advance

Just update your firmware then select the GD00X protocol.

Would you please post your updated ini file for the C-17 transporter here? The one that includes throttle-elevator and aileron-trim mix? I have ordered this plane too, and waiting for it to arrive. Thanx in advance.

INFO: the latest C17 transports are shipped with a remote and RX which looks the same but they run a different protocol... The new RX has this reference GD9001-102RX2. I have one RX/TX so I will have a look when I have time.

I don't have my SDR equipment so I'm trying to hack this protocol over the air with just a NRF.
GD005-RX2

Bind packets
channels: 0x43, 0x53, 0x63 -> needs to be looked at further
each channel sent every : 5100µs -> I'm guessing 1700µs between channels switch and the order is surely not important for bind...
address: 47 44 4B 4E 78 => "GDKNx"
packet length: 6
payload: 65 00 00 95 47 44
-> 47 44 => "GD" I'm thinking they are fixed between TXs, the 4 others are unknown at this stage...
