You're right, no data was recorded. Deviation can't create files so the file must exist before it can be used. The test code resets it when the protocol starts, so be sure to restart in usb mode immediately after the operating session.
Just to eliminate the obvious, confirm the Telemetry protocol option is set to on.
Nothing recorded means no telemetry is being received from the plane. I can make another test build that records any receiving errors, but those aren't likely if the plane is nearby.

Thanks for your fast replay.
Telemetry is on and i am going immediately after the operation in usb mode....
But something with this test build might be not correct: For a cross-check I was loading my profile for my correct working telemetry plane, binding this plane, but with this build "...9f2" no telemetry is coming to my remote. And also nothing inside the datalog...

Thanks for your time and help!

Thanks, that's good information. Evidently I broke something between the last working test version and the latest code.
I've uploaded a couple versions here . The 7306797 version is the same as the last working version from earlier in this thread. The 7330f02 version is the latest code with one minor fix I found, though I don't think it will make a difference. So if 73067 works and 7330f does not we can try the different changes between those two to see which one breaks the telemetry.
Please try the 73067 version with both old and new planes. Both these versions update the datalog file, but it will only be important if the old planes work and the new one doesn't.
