Deviation uploader 0.9.0 will not unpack the newest T8SG-V2 zip file. Downloaded several times with same result.
Still unpacks all previous firmware builds. Also unpacks newest T8SG-V2-Plus and 7e-256 files, just not T8SG-V2
Anyone else having same issue?

I downloaded the latest firmware 3.01 for DX8 and flashed it, now the question about the receiver IRangeX RM601 2.4G 7CH is available only the de pinned version if I buy it here , where can I get a pad with pins that I will solder myself

or as an alternative, what other DSM-2 receiver can I buy advise that it works stably and reliably up to 300m

The only voltage I saw in the telemetry monitor was that voltage. That may be the rx voltage. I will try to change it to the battery voltage.

Which displayed voltage are you referring to? RxV is the receiver voltage. Bat is an external input which can be from the battery pack.

I just bound my t8sg v2 plus to an Eflite Timber x and the telemetry for the battery is not showing the correct voltage. It is saying 4.3 volts on a 3s battery. The telemetry for my other Eflite plane that runs on 1s is fine. Not sure if there are settings to change in the transmitter or things I can try to fix this.

New nightly build is available with some changes in CRSF.

* New telemetry sensor decoding for CRSF_VARIO, BARO_ALT (with vario), TX_ID, and RX_ID.
* Fix for CRSF menu COMMAND options that may change dialog type during operation
* Extend max dialog prompt length from 19 to 39 characters

The dialog fixes may not affect ELRS. Noticed the problem with TBS "Set Failsafe" command.

Users manual is updated. Since I can't update the official links I've used Github Pages to make a page with links to the latest Deviation build and manuals.

Hi Walter,

Fail Safe is the name of the function that should ensure that Throttle is switched off when no receive signal arrives. You can find a short information in the documentation here under 8.8.11

deviationtx.com/user-manual/user-manual-6-8-12

In the mixer: Have a look in the settings of the throttle channel. There you will find the item Fail Safe depending on the RX and the protocol.

Does anyone have a video or detailed instructions on how to set up a buddy box or trainer mode from a t8sg v2 plus to another t8sg v2 plus transmitter?

The YT video describes a similar problem as you have and shows the calibration of an ESC.

Hi Walter,

You are starting from the wrong premises. The ESC does not get a negative control value from the TX.

The ESC gets a pulse width modulated signal (PWM) between 1000ms - 2000ms from the RX, the center position corresponds to 1500ms. From this the ESC generates a rotating field for the connected brushless motor.

Exactly with this PWM the servo on the RX on Throttle CH 3 works perfectly.

Would you like to send us a link with a manual of the ESC, then we could see how the throttle travel must be taught into the ESC. Under the name of the ESC "FullPower PRO 6A BEC" I find different variants of an ESC. Which one is it exactly?

Greetings
Dirk

My ESC is a FullPower PRO 6A BEC.

But my doubt is: if the regulation curve is negative with the stick in the down position, how can the ESC/motor run ?
The motor will run starting only with the stick in the central position, increasing to full speed with the stick in the uper position.

In my opinion the current recgulation curve is only suitable for endothermic engines.

Walter if you need further help, then you should also give us some more information.

Now that it is clear that it is neither the TX, and its programming for CH3, nor the RX that is the problem and we can also rule out a problem with deviation.

So it would be good to know which ESC you are using, regardless of whether it is new. It would be best to tell us the name of the manufacturer and the type of ESC.

Hi,

I try to put a servo on CH3 and it works properly.

My ESC is a new one.
