How to upgrade with Devo 12S was created by saidem
Hello, I installed the file devo12-V5.0.0.dfu, but the file devo-lib. Dfu does not install. I'm not sure if I have the correct version of Dfuse and / or the STM32 driver. Could you help me? Here are the photos.
thank you very much

Hello
For the passage of my Devo 12S under Deviation, I took the file Devo 12, I think it's OK. I used version 5.0.0 and also a nighty. I replaced my Dfuse version by this one v2.31 - October 6, 2014. I added in my computer the driver STM32 DFU windows 10, but I still have the same problem.
The first dev file upgrade deviation-devo12-v5.0.0 goes well, the second devo12-lib loads, but there is an error message that appears by pressing upgrade. Here are the photos. Do you have any idea what's going wrong?
Here is a photo of the files, do you have the same sizes?
Maybe the file is not good, what do you think?

Ok, I'll try that. I had spent devo 7E and devo 10 and I had never used this command. Must I go back to the 5.0.0 or keep the nighty ..
Thank you for your help, I informed you of the result.

Thanks vlad_vy, I should have read this a little closer, because it was nevertheless well marked on the manual. But my English is not very good.
I received the 4 in 1 module from Banggood and what's bizarre when I edit the hardware.ini file under notpad ++ I have only one line. I'll make you a copy. And if I copy a good file, it goes back on a single line.

Hello,
On my devo 12S when I put the current time and date it does not hold when I switch off the transmitter. This always comes back to 2012-01-01. Is this normal?
Thank you for your answers.

Check the separate button battery for the real time clock in the battery compartment...

Hello,
I would like to know if it is normal that the USB drive of the Devo 12S does only 2 MB, because I have only entered very little models and it is already full. The Media file (61 files is 1.51 MB) is it correct? What do I do?
Thank you for your opinion.

You don't need the media media folder on a 12S, because that is in the library you installed.

Thanks FDR for helping me, but I should have read the manual a little closer as it was written. So I deleted the Media file and I found a lot of space. The USB drive on the Devo 12S has the same capacity as the Devo 7E (1.97MB) on the Devo 8 it is more important (3.76MB).
Thank you for your help, have good day

Yes, but check your model configs before use, if they don't have any compatibility issues, because there was a lot changes since 3.0

Ok, and thanks for your reply. In fact I had put DeViation to a friend TX a few years ago. Now he would like me to put the module 4 in 1. So I think it is imperative to pass his Devo 10 in version 5.0.0 is that right?
Thank you for helping.

You need first backup your model files to PC. Try to download fresh copy of firmware, then "Upgrade" firmware, "Upgrade" library file, then copy all filesystem files to transmitter USB drive.
I don't know what 5.0.0 version do you try to flash, but suggest to use latest build "Deviation v5.0.0 build with latest protocols":
www.deviationtx.com/forum/builds/6407-de...cols?start=380#68343
Don't use devo12-XMS build, it's intended for modded devo12.
If you need some advanced features such as extended audio (voice), try to use nightly builds.
