Did you try putting the throttle trim to the bottom?
Had the same behavior with my wk 4#3, it would bind but no throttle.
Put the trim at bottom and the little bird woke up.

It's frustrate me, seems it related to protocol changes. Just yesterday I got my Hubsan X4 and now I'm in some doubt about Flysky mod.

Vlad,
Does it bind? I believe others have reported that the Hubsan X4 will bind but will not fly for versions with the 'different' protocol. Given what MolaMola reported, it sounds more like there is something I'm missing in the protocol, rather than a change in it.

Cann't say, I didn't implement Flysky mod up to now. Two modules A7105-500m waiting my free time.

I asked on a X4 topic on RCG.
The V2 and V3 revisions of the board fly just fine with a V1 transmitter.
Maybe they just blacklisted the TX ID you use in deviation ?
Or just something with the model file ?
I'm lucky, the two X4 that I have, fly just fine with deviation.

I'm lucky, my Hubsan X4 bind and fly, with both my Tx (with A7105-500m module). It has EA4000362 board.

I believe I have fixed the issue with the Hubsan protocol. the fix is in the latest nightly.
It turns out that I was missing a single command right after the end of binding. For some reason it impacts some Hubsan X4s and not others.
I would like confirmation from anyone who has a non-working Hubsan that it now works properly when using the current nightly build (5b5a0db83c25 or newer)

This is wonderful!
All my problems were solved.
It checked by the substrate of my stock.
EA4000362 and EA4000363V3 Both operated normally.
It is very gratitude!

+1 here, works perfectly. I just want to express my gratitude for the whole Deviation project and all involved. I feel guilty sometimes that I am not able to contribute much for what I get in return and seem to just leach off everyones effort, myself enjoying the software. I will sure help in the odd spot here and there where I can though.
Kudos to all!

What is the maximum useful travel for channels? 100%? 125%?

If I remember well from my tries, 100% it flips (I fly over concrete, not to friendly for the plastic parts
), I have set my scale to 90%, it's very nice.

Many thanks to MolaMolaFalcon for providing me a board I could test with. This wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I'm asked about phisical limits of the protocol or Hubsan itself. For my taste Hubsan X4 is too inert, I'm using up to -30% expo value for 80% scale and -20% expo value for 100% scale.

Again, Thank you PB! You've solved the issue so fast!
Also, everyone's reports and discussions were exact and interesting.
Now, with my micro quads, I see again that the Deviation firmware is fantastic!

Is this your first deviation install? Did you format the USB file system and copied the necessary files and directories in there?
If not, please read the manual first...
