PB might be able to take a look and maybe he'll see something that could lead to what is causing the reboots???

Got a few questions for ya....
Are you in the advanced menu?
It would help if you posted some pics maybe...The post you refer to is one menu showing channel assignments I believe, so I'm not sure what exactly you mean.
I am using the Devo 8S on Deviation 4.0.1 on all 4 of my heli's, using the advanced menu for set up.

Just want you to know, you can set up in the standard GUI. I'm just used to the advanced.
Not sure but you may already be in the advanced GUI...

When you start Deviation, touch the helicopter pic, this should bring you to a bunch of icons if your in the Standard GUI. ( If not, your already in the advanced GUI )
If you are in standard GUI, then touch the icon that looks like a wrench. This brings up the "model set up" screen.
If you touch next to where it says " Mixer GUI", you can change to the advanced GUI.
Right above the "mixer GUI" is "File".
It will say "load" in the option tab....if you touch the little arrows, you can change it to a few different things, the one you want is "template"
Touch the word template, and it gives you optional templates to load. I use the 6 channel helicopter template as a starting place.

Thankyou Blayd, yes that was the cause. I've only recently acquired this Devo 8s and it has been a bit of a learning curve.

Thanks again.

No problem, I'm STILL learning.
Currently, I'm flying three 500's and my 700 on the latest stable release of Deviation 4.0.1. Takes a bit to get it figured out, but it is pretty simple to get a heli set up once you start to understand the way things work. I dont have a full understanding yet of scratch building a complex mixer, but I can work my way to a good decent set up on a 6 channel heli. BUT... mine are all flybarred heli's, so I dont have any experience in setting up Deviation on a FBL machine yet. Maybe next spring.. then I will need some help. :P OK.. OK.. ALOT of help... ;)
The 700 is still got me alittle nervous, since I can only fly in a flight field at a public park, so right now, it only flies if the place is 100% empty, but I am getting VERY confident in it. The range checks have been excellent. All the 500's are flying in Devo protocol, on the 802Rx's, the 700 is flying on the 2801 protocol, with a 2801Pro Rx.
