Thank you all very much. I am not so sure I grasp it all as yet but, I have pitch and swash moves in all the correct directions and I think it may fly.

This model memory will always remember the advanced mode?

I will study you last reply and it is very telling. Wish I could discuss in person so I get it better.

Sorry for my impatience and thank you all very much. I must study this, not as fast as you guys are at learning this. 2 years to learn just to fly a pattern.

Throttle is usually -100 to 100. Try throttle trim all the way down. Use the channel monitor to check.

A few times is correct. All my helis are FBL. And this one is SLT and FBL. I am so confused. I have read and up until now, I have never needed the advanced set-up and just can't understand, at this point

I have read the suggested directions regarding FBL Heli and mixing..Multiple time.

Nothing I do, allows me to have both Ail and ELe.

I put all on simple. I rearranged the sources. I have looked above at those directions (albeit a bit different than a 12S) I think I should be able to understand and set the channels.


Nothing I do works.

Am I suppose to use the move up and down page to arrange the ch's and the "copy to" option prior to choosing the source from the next page? I can find no documentation as steps and obviously not as experienced as others here.

I am using a Devo 10S. I am using an Anylink SLT. This is a 6 ch FBL Heli. PPM. The move up move down page? the order is changed again on the Mixer page so, I don't get that. Am I suppose to use "Copy to"?

I can eventually get the pitch and throttle on the correct stick. Or at least, I have before right now. When I assign ELE and Ail, not both will work, its either one or the other.

The 2 or 3 ini. files are because I have tried several different model memories just in case I adj. something I should not have adjusted.. In one of them or the other.

You made several mistakes. I would explain them but I'm too tired, last night my son wouldn't sleep so I'm kind of a zombie right now.

Try the attached ini, don't fly with it just confirm that it works.

Please do not write me back until u can. I can wait. All my other flyers are the standard interface and all FBL. I've had no issues for my simple usage. Till now. PPM.

I installed your model The same thing but, I saw the settings you made and where you used D/R etc.. Yet, Only when I pull right stick , left or right, does the motor start. No correct swash movement on any stick: Ive just been sticking in random setting till I get the heli's swash movement close to right but thr remains elusive.

I told you before use the channel monitor and write down which channel moves on which stick. Then report back.

I do not know the channel order for Tactic or if the PPM settings I gave you are correct.

Try the attached model, seems the protocol settings were not saved in the first I gave you.

If it doesn't work then we must figure out the order of channels and PPM settings (eventually), but I will need you to use the channel monitor.

The enclosed ini is getting close to correct. However, Ele will not reverse. NO matter what I do, also I don't know if rudder direction is correct, gain for gyro and throttle hold is not set.

This ini will show you chs?

ch 1 throttle
ch 2 ail
ch 3 ele
ch 4 rudder
ch 5 ? never moves
Ch 6 ? moves down when throttle move up.

Sorry I did not let you know the ch's.

Yours did the same as PB's (PB sent me one to help me also) No swash movement is correct and motor starts only when left or right movement on the right stick is made. Aile adj. starts the motor. All else is wrong.

You are attacking the problem in the wrong way. Why did you bother with 9 point curves when your channels are mixed up?

Keep it simple.

The attached ini has only simple mixes so they are easy work on if needed. Keep the heli strapped down and then bind up and check channels. I hope you do have the knowledge to visually check if controls are working in the correct direction.

If the channel order is correct then the only things that could be wrong is gyro gain not being on channel 5 but on 7 and some reversal. Then we can work on dual rates and other stuff.

And another thing, to check pitch don't look at how the servos move, but at the blades leading edge, if it rises with THR stick then all is right.

sbstnb model did work after I reversed the Elev and Pitch ch.

Even keeping this "simple." I fight to understand TX setup in advanced mode.

How was throttle hold accomplished? It does work well.
