goebish wrote: Hmmm probably a stupid question, but are you sure the module you have in your 7e can do 250Kbps ?
I tested unscrambled mode + crc with 9 byte payload on my test xn297 RX (but at 1Mbps...) and it's working fine, when I start my Devo10 with i6S protocol selected (but hacked for 1MBps...) my "rx" receives the bind packets.
Yes it's the same module for both my Devo10 & 7E. I will test the Devo10 build

Anyway, I was able to build the previous version for 7e as well, so it should be fine until I find what's wrong...
it has aileron/elevator swapped and rudder reversed.

goebish wrote: That's mind-blowing, I can see that the 2 versions send the same packets, with the same crc and all.... my test rx (an actual xn297) receives them, still the quads don't bind with the 2nd one...

goebish wrote: Version with extra channels, note that I couldn't find the flag in the "flip" capture, I suppose it requires a bit of throttle to work, can you make another capture for that ? (The quad doesn't need to be switched on, so you can capture at full throttle

One general remark for the i6s & MT9XX. in general i use the throttle trim down to trigger camera recording. I am using the same config file with other protocols; Here, I need to keep hold down the trim button to continue the recording. There is a away to have a real latch D ?

Sorry I cannot do what you want with trim button, but I think it can be done with the mixer settings no ?
(I admit I still have to read Deviation manual

Meanwhile, the code to be pushed has an hardcoded ID (just 1 byte), not a big deal unless 2 fliers want to use this protocol in the same area
