Ah cool, you're the first person to test the CX10D :)

Can you try auto flip (channel 6) on both please ?

Goebish I found my problem. The flip actually works. I have forgotten that I have set 3 rates for elevator and aileron. Flip will work when the rate is over 80%.
Sorry for the wrong alert. Please accept a newbie's apology :)

On the stock transmitter, flip works even if I do not increase the rate. Perhaps it has automatically changed the rate when the flip command is activated.

No, that's because the protocol is permanently set to high rate, and the FC requires that the stick is moved > 80% to engage flip.
That's one of the issues of not implementing rates as on stock Tx ...

So does the rate button on the stock transmitter actually change the throttle rate?

No, it changes the maximum angle and yaw rate of the quad (FC side), sticks still have full range even in low rate mode on stock Tx.

Thank you for the explanation. Looks like I need to start learning how to decode the SPI capture. I know too little how the quad operates.

Is there anything left to capture?
Sorry I was busy the last days, no chance to whip out the analyzer…

Cool beans!
I need to install what now exactly? The next nightly?
Also will all those ne protocols be integrated into the next stable releases? or are we already running out of space?

For now you can install the test build:
www.dropbox.com/sh/zmbdc0t3q0u30on/AADEb...aMLWyCwhgj1egWa?dl=0
Then it should be in the nightly in 1-2 days ...

It should be in the next "stable" release as well.

I took me way too long to finally test the CX10D and my friends CX10WD. I did them however (the proted multi code) and the work fine. Thanks very much for reverse engineering the protocol!

I just got a CX10wd, installed the test build but not able to bind.
The question is what is the binding procedure and the channel config (mapping)?

Default mapping (AETR), Q303 protocol, CX10WD format option, test build is not required anymore, you can install a nightly build.

ajtank, can you confirm that this protocol is working ?

thanks for you quick reply. i now seems able to bind (changed from fadt to slow led blinking).

but not to arm by following the stock (moving the throttle stick up and down) tx procedure

how about other channels for flip and othets?

I think this is because this protocol also has auto take off / land.

Channel 5 has 3 positions (auto land / normal / auto take off), I think it should be set to "normal" (0) if you want to arm manually.
Flip is on channel 6, as usual.

If you can't get it to work, just wait for ajtank to post his .ini file ;)
