No idea, I do not have this machine myself, maybe plaisthos can tell, if he's still reading this thread.

I really appreciate your hard work to implement protocols you don't even use, that's one of the reasons I bought a logic analyzer so I can give back and help the community that has helped me.

In my remote the XN297 was on a small daughter board that had only like 6 connections, so I just dumped all of them. Cannot check anymore because I throw away my remote.

ok yeah that's very different to mine, I got the pins mapped to the bigger IC and will solder jumpers tonight. Is there any special mode in Logic that I'm supposed to capture on, or is it just a case of turning on the TX and saving what goes through pins 1-4?

Just capture at 16 MHz, no particular settings.
Start capture before switching the transmitter on.

Hopefully I did this right, there's a settings mismatch error at the beginning that I couldn't get rid of

Something is wrong, there's no CSN, or maybe it's shorted with SCK, or that's not the good pin.

Your capture:

Also, please don't post your capture files directly on the forum, use dropbox or google drive or ... then give a shared link.

Well, this project just ended abruptly as I somehow managed to remove one of the legs from the "big" IC and now the Tx won't work at all (power light just flashes, no beep). Unfortunately that means there's now no chance of my CX10 ever flying again, since my Devo won't bind with it and I don't have the original Tx to use (and I'm out the cost of the logic analyzer). Not a good day...

Sorry for your loss :(
My advice is to practice soldering on a scrap board with similar pitched ICs before doing it on a "valuable" board if you're not used to this kind of stuff.

Now your best bet is to hope someone has the same revision as yours and dump it someday ...

as much as I hate to spend more money, this board looks identical (except for the build date) - www.ebay.com/itm/Cheerson-CX-10WD-CX10WD...9:g:ORgAAOSwYXVY0Dsa

edit : nevermind, not identical

Looks like this is a D board (not WD), but not the same than plaisthos ...
As usual, Cheerson is using different hardware and software for each batch :P

Hi,

I have several little drones (tozo, drocon, visuo, etc) and i started to modify my devo12s with deviation.
I paired with success a CX10 blue version, but i have no success with the others.
I started to look deeper with a CX10D. As i'm unable to bind it, i suppose that maybe the one i have use a slightly different protocol.

I solder required pins on my remote and connected to a fx2 usb chip.
Then i used sigrock la to capture datas.
Datas seems correct, but i don't know what to do with it.

The only things i found are (if i'm not wrong):
ID : BE 5F 34 12
TX: 2B 14 28 40 25 3D 22 3D 22 3A 1F 37 1C 34 19 31 16 2E -> 24Mhz

Sigrock software analyze datas, but does not seem to export analysed data.
It can export captured data in VCD format, can it help ?

I'm really interested in understanding how it works and in changing all my remote by the devo.

Regards

What is the proper button to launch the quad on the devo 7e? I can bind but unable to do anything else. I tried the trim buttons on the transmitter.

Map a switch to channel 5 for auto take off / land.
Or use stick gesture:

Stefan_Z wrote: By the way - there IS a way to manually control the motors with the original remote.
Start motors: left stick -> left-bottom + right stick -> right-bottom
Stop motors: left stick -> left-bottom + right stick -> right-bottom (for 2 seconds)

I`ve just tried to binf my CX-10D with Devo 7E using the protocol Q303 with both CX10 and CX10W variants with no success. I`ve used nightly build cc06d0 firmware instead the test builds avaiable in this thread.

The quad`s lights remains blinking quickly meaning no binding. Is there some bind procedure diferent to do that rather than just switch on the model and then pressing the button "bind" on transmitter?

Or Should I prefer try the test build avaiable in this thread instead the newer nightly build?

Seems the newer cx10d is using yet another protocol :(
Can you open the transmitter to check what's inside please ?

Ok, so that's just a different protocol, as usual with the CX10s, each batch is using a new protocol ...
If you're willing to dump what happens on the SPI bus I should be able to add the protocol.
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...95-spi-capture-guide
Also, seems there's yet another new CX10 that's not using a nrf24l01 or xn297 at all, but has an "all in one" MCU+RF :(
