I think you may need one of the nightly builds for the E010 protocol - just and FYI.

Any nightly after maybe 2016/08/30
The protocol is MJXq - Select “E010” format option. If you don't see E010, you probably just need a more recently nightly.

The link above is for the 4-in-1 module, which i think is the best option. But it's expensive and the installation is a bit challenging (if you're using a Devo 7e. If you're using one of the larger Devo's it's supposed to be very easy).

The NRF module alone will get you in the air, but the 4-in-1, if installed properly - will give you access to all sorts of protocols and be a bit tidier.

Here's an NRF that works: www.banggood.com/DEVO-Transmitter-Tuner-...ys-V922-p-89812.html

@ ciossonno
It should work on the 7E just fine, but I don't have a 7E with NRF24L01 to test it with.

First make sure your transmitter is running a Deviation Nightly Build that was made Sept 8th 2016 or later. Also make sure you have loaded that build's file system and DFU firmware. You may want to verify that the DFU file was loaded correctly by the Walkera DfuSe tool by going into your 7E's 'Main Menu -> About Deviation' page and verifying that the 7 digit build number (after the "devo7e-v5.0.0-") matches the DFU that you tried to load.

If you are running a new enough build then maybe go into model setup and switch the protocol to something else then try to switch it back to FQ777. There was talk of re-naming the protocol or giving it a sub protocol after this model.ini was created. If they did, then the Deviation version you have loaded may have a different name like FQ777-124 instead of just FQ777. If the protocol has an * in front of it, that means it's not finding your NRF24L01 module. Also, this was tested with a NRF24L01+PA+LNA (+power amplifier, +low noise amplifier). It's the $8 version. If your running a different version, like the $4 version without the amplifiers there may be issues like there have been with other protocols.

Tested with this module: www.banggood.com/DEVO-Transmitter-Tuner-...12.html?rmmds=search

Category: Model Requests

Just ordered a HCP80 V2 - with expedited shipping - so hopefully I will be able to post something in a /few/ days if you have not already found a working solution

All I know so far is:
Swashtype: 1Servo
Number of channels: 7
channel 7, value 0 = 0%, value 1 = 100% to toggle between 3 and 6g

I will report back :D

Regards
Rob
Edited to add - Daryoon has made one for the V1 here
www.deviationtx.com/forum/model-configs/...24l01-protocol-model

so add the 7th channel for switching between 3 and 6 G and it should be golden :)

I just downloaded and zapped my deviated devo 7e with this file and my hisky hcp80 flew right out of the box :cheer: I just wanted to thank you for your excellent 7e work, and making this model download available - it would have taken a non deviated expert hours to get the transmitter set up. Thanks heaps!

Hi, see below for a JJRC 1000A model file.

The model name will be "JJIRC POLY", you can change to your particular needs.

This is using the "Hubsan X4 for 7e 10" icon located at:

http://www.deviationtx.com/forum/bw-icons-for-devo-7e-10/1615-hubsan-x4-for-7e-10

Requires the NRF24L01 module:

My Devo7e model that the Devo10 will be able to use.

I used a protractor to transfer the various pitch and throws from the stock TX. Then duplicated it onto Deviation.

I can't find a model for the HCP80 / FBL80 with the Hisky protocol.
If I use a HT8 protocol and change it to Hisky protocol (tried both on PC and on the transmitter itself), it doesn't seem to work right.

Does anybody here hava a working model.ini for the HCP80 (or HCP100) with the Hisky protocol?

sounds like you need to calibrate the esc's throttle end points, wait an hp08 in a 450? if you are now talking about using blheli's pwm to ppm conversion on a micro heli then that is the issue, I came across the same thing in my fbl80 bl swap, as already mentioned maxing the throttle end points will help a bit with that, but I still couldn't get a full range throttle stick even then

I have been flying a HFP80 using a Devo8 and WL-t6 adapter. I today I tried flying my new FBL80 using Gordonzo's config file. Any attempt to get in the air has failed. The two times I got it in the air I hand launched it, and any stick movement she would just nose dive. I have CP experience with Walkera birds and a Nano CPX. I did not think there was that much difference between my Devo 8 and a Devo 10 for the file not to work.

One question though, did you try to set the swash type to none instead of 120? On all my 3D FBL micro helis (SP125, Ncpx) I use "none" as swash type and all is well, is the FBL80 any different that is needs a Swash type/mix defined? I was under the impression the FBL helis by definition do not need to have a swash type defined as the flybarless system does the mixing on the fly, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the FBL70 config as well, I found it after I struggled a bit setting up my own FBL70 :-)

The HiSky micro CP such as the FBL80 and FBL100 both leave the CCPM mixing to be done on the TX. Just like older flybarred heli.

That is the reason you need to assign a 120 swash type.

I have brought it up to HiSky rep many times, hoping they will change to have the CCPM mixing be done on the RX like the other FBL helis. It will make it easier to program the radio.

Devo 7e models

Category: Model Configs

hey i am just looking through here and I havnt seen pretty much anyone putting out Devo 7e models to download. while i am going to get a devo 10 shortly, what i have now is a devo 7e so i need a little help if there is any out there.

i dont really understand this firmware just yet (im new to models in general, specially with programable tx). Im just wondering if there is anyone out there who could post models for the Nano CPx, V120d02s (bought used so im not sure if its v1 or v2), ladybird v2, and fbl80. im using the ht8 module but eventually i would like to get that hardwired in. also if anyone wants to post some for the v911 and hubsan x4 that would be great to. Just in case i get a wild hair up my ass and decided to do some hard mods.

thanks in advance for the help,
