Upgrade without USB connection T8SG V2+ ?

If usb connection not working it is possible to upgrade software on T8SG V2 Plus ?

My T8SG V2 Plus work well like radio station. I think for future upgrade when will be necessary.

I think that firmware in some way was loaded in my station on production time, but nobody check if USB connection work

I'm right ? May be not. To change mother board the total cost is 50$, and I do not have confidence that this will solve this issues.

Other suggestions ?

Perhaps the proper USB driver is not present. Are you on Windows 10? Is there any reaction on the PC when the radio is plugged in? Does the T8SG appear in the device manager list? (possibly under universal serial bus controllers, with a yellow triangle on the icon)

Can't really upgrade without being able to access the USB filesystem. Sometimes the filesystem needs to be updated along with the upgrade.

I try to use on Ubuntu 18.04, DeviatioUpload-0.9.0.jar. No success, because program run, but when start T8SG V2+ with ESC and Power buttons, program do not see any DFU device. I try to see what to need to setup in /etc/udev/rules for that.

It does sound like a problem with the connection. The USB interface doesn't have a lot of circuitry to got bad. If you haven't already check the connector pins inside and out, and the soldering and wiring. Check the pins of the MCU are soldered nicely. Use a known-good USB cable. That's about all the can go wrong except a problem with the MCU itself.

I have no ideea what pins from MCU are for USB, to check trackts from these to USB connector ... Any suggestions ?

I check 2 trackts from USB connector until matherboard connector ...

On the V2+ the USB +/- signal pins are on the bottom of the mcu (with tx facing away from you, back cover removed, battery down), the fourth and fifth pins from the bottom right corner. (Sorry can't get pic right now). These should be connected directly to two of the USB connector pins.

I suppose that device ????? is something like ESDALC6V1W5, an array of diodes for ESD protection. Maybe I'm wrong, but for moment that is my supposition.

Is possible to use FTDI connected to A9 and A10 from STM32 ? I bought an mini development board with STM32F103RCT6 to make some experiments.

For moment I go with T12 Plus. T8SG Plus become my experimental station

Hello, I think I lost all of the protocols and subprotocols on my brandnew Jumper T8sgPLus V2. I cann't no longer find the supported models as for the drones MJXQ and the Hubsan into the settings on the RC or by using the usb-mode using deviationtx. I want to bind my MJX Bugs 5W and my Hubsan H 502S with this brandnew RC. On my T8sgPlus the usb-connection works well and I have access to the system of the T8sgPlus V2, that's not the problem here.I've already build the external voice module but the folowing step is to setup this both models using deviationtx that's verry hehlpfull for my as a blind pilot of this drones. Many thanks in advance for any help and suggestions!
