the settings in the tx.ini are transmitter specific. So you can not use a tx.ini from somebody else because your sticks will not be calibrated corectly. You have to setup things in your transmitter yourself.

The lights always blinking is related to the headless mode. Your X600 is permanent in headless mode and you can't disable because your Devo don't have the 3x2 switch mod.
My model file is valid for 7e with 3x2 switches mod ;) . I assigned the headless function to SWA 1 switch. I guess you don't have the 3x2 switch mod, right?
Also, my model file has throttle cut assigned to Hold1 switch.

I can try to write a simple model file without the switches mod when return home, but I advise to you to start to learn to write your own model files.
Thanks for testing to everyone :)

You are right! I have not 3x2 switch
And you are right too: I have to learn
And what about VIDEO/CAMERA , by TX controller?

But, it's working the camera function with stock TX?
Anyway, are you sure the C4008 camera can be used/controlled with the X600?
The MJX webpage only mention the C4005 (only Wi-Fi FPV) and the C4010 camera (Wi-Fi FPV+ micro sd card) as X600/X800 compatible.
According MJX, the C4008 is not applied to the X600

Damn! Just checked the X600 manual, and they mention the C4005, C4008, C4010 and even the C4002 :S
And according the manual should work as I wrote before. Without camera, automatic forward flips. With camera plugged, Camera function (picture? Video? )
Damn manufacturers...

I have the MJX C4002 camera. I can use this camera on the X600.
It does work with the stock tx. It also works with your X800 ini file. However it does not work with the X600 ini file.
Could you plaese include the camera function to the X600 as you did with the X800.
Thank you.

Edit:
Poor choise of words:
The camera works with the x800 protocol option picture and video. The camera does not work with the X600 protocol option.

You are right. manual says that C4008 is good for X600, and even on the box of the Camera there is written that it is good for X600. :( but no tx remote controll to store on the MicroSD Card

Just checked my model file from page 12 and the channel 11 (forward auto flip/camera function) is assigned to "Exit" button.
Should work as stock TX.
Perhaps the camera should be activated pressing for some time the "Exit" button?

I am sorry. I assumed channel 7 and 8 to be for photo and video.
I changed the ini file a bit so i have photo and video on left vertical trim buttons.
I set video on channel 11 and indeed the video works.
No photo option though.
Wouldn't it be more obvious to use the same channels as with the X800. then photo and video can be used.
I don't have a clue how to do the things you do here so please excuse me if i say something stupid.
Thanks for the great work.

In fact, it's using the same channel schema as X800 :)
The X600 TX doesn't have a Picture nor Video function. Only have an AutoFlip/Camera function shared by the same button/data flag.
The Autoflip/Camera button is the equivalent to Autoflip on X800 TX, the only difference is the X600 recognizes a camera plugged in and his FC firmware change this function to Camera function when plugged.
IMO, the actual channel schema is right, because most people doesn't have camera, and changing this function to channel 8 (as standard channel map) will cause most people will have an AutoFlip feature on channel 8, used in most protocols to video.

If i use the x800 protocol option i have a picture and video option with the x600 (like the x800). But i loose the headless function.
So i can choose.
Thanks again.

So, with camera plugged in X600, X800 protocol option, you can take pictures and videos using channels 7 and 8?
That's interesting...

That means probably there are 2 hidden flags on X600 TX to active Picture and Video functions. But without any stock TX using those functions is difficult to figure out ;)
Well, at least we know we can choose to have those functions (loosing Headless mode) or to have Headless mode.
Thanks for this info :)

It gets even better.
Using the x600 with the x800 protocol. I have picture and video on ch7 and ch8, lights on 5 and, while using video, i can flip; ch6.
If there would be a headless function it would be complete. (And maybe rth, never used that.)
Then there would be no need to have 2 different protocol options.

Ok, one more SPI bind capture from other X800 TX. I will add at least 2 or 3 more bind captures in the hope to crack the frequency hopping pattern.

Finally I have modded my Devo 7E.
I own a MJX X600 last revision with big landing legs and MJC C4008 FPV Cam.
Installed Durete FW (not the last one with headless fix) and X600 files.
Bind ok.
When I throttle up the X600 go up, but i will slowly spin over itself on left side.
I tried to set trim but with no luck.....
Please, how I have to set TX control like stock control? than I can test even with camera.
P.S. I don't know why, but I am not able to control C4008 FPV cam by TX: If i push upper right button (intermediate mode setted) the X600 flip, but no take video nor photo.
Thank you again for your work

Thank god! I thought I was the only one with this problem, was getting ready to take my motors apart.

I did an X600 model file for Devo 7e without 3x2 switch mod.

FMod1. Flip mode enabled.
Hold0/1. 2 different rates for pitch/roll. (Rudder is always at 100% since is not very fast).
Rudder trim left. Enable/Disable lights
Rudder trim right. RTH (When you are holding this switch)
Throttle Trim Up. Enable/Disable Headless mode.
Exit button. Forward autoflip/Camera (When attached).

The model file, is fully untested, so be careful.
Hope you can test now. :)
