this is a complete bargain! i'd be all over this had i not gotten so used to the size and weight of a lipo aa powered 7e, i'm so used to the smaller size and weight that my jr dsx9 feels like i'm holding a breezeblock with a lead core when i try using it lol

With a Deviation, it's awesome, well, will be when I get Deviation installed. The kit came with the 12-channel Devo RX, too. Unbeatable. Bigger yes, but I wear the neck strap, so really not noticeable.

Thank you, @victzh for doing the port!

Mine is a very small part, main port was done by PhracturedBlue, long ago. I just finished up, fixed couple bugs, made the zip self contained.

Unfortunately it did not appear in last night builds, it may mean we need some intervention to add it somewhere. I'll wait a day more, then investigate.

So far, so good. It was a bit tricky getting the dfu load to work. As near as I can tell you need to use Walkera's DFuse 2.31 (it's on the downloads page, listed under DFU USB Tool, Walkera, then get 2.31 from the Googledrive). This version has the necessary configuration info to work with the Devo 12E.

I had no success with the Deviation loader but i'm pretty sure i messed up the DFU drivers at some point. I removed all the drivers and started over with DFuse.

I initially tried the Walkera DFuse version 3.05 (a very new release) and found that it would let me make backups of the DFU, Config and Library files as shipped. So I did that before I tried anything else. It's good that I did, because when I tried to load Deviation, it failed to load correctly. And for a while I was stuck in Update mode. I uninstalled 3.05 and removed all the drivers, then installed DFuse 2.31. Using 2.31 allowed me to reload those backups, and load Deviation (from the nightly!). Everything proceeded as expected thereafter.

Since I got that sorted out, it's working like it should. I will add a model or two and see what happens!

The nightly builds include an emulator as expected... but it only sorta works. The control keys are not mapped as normal. Here are some i found:
Esc key is Ent,
Enter is up-arrow
up-arrow gives you down-arrow
and the ' or \ key quits immediately.

Some of the keys are perfectly fine:
a/q is left vert
s/w is left horiz
d/e is right vert
f/r is right horiz
and all the switch keys line up ok.

So we're really close!

I am tempted on this. I have been considering a Devo 10. I want to install a 4 in 1 into whichever transmitter I purchase. Are the connections on the 12e the same as the 10 (remove old module, solder 4 in 1 in place, and then solder three additional wires)?

It should work, and if the photos we have from the FCC site are still good, the available pads on the main board are exactly the same as those on the 10. I have a few more tests to run before I crack mine open, but I'm pretty sure it will be a direct fit.

I will confirm today later, but what I've seen it's the same. As far as I can recall the board for 12E has two extra connectors for two POTs. Overall layout is very close.

I received my 12e. I initially tried to load Deviation with the v2.0 Dfuse and that did not work (does not recognize the 12e, as reported by Deal57). I just upgraded Dfuse to V2.31 as recommended and no problem. Latest nightly loads just as in the past. All 4 pots show up as options. Did a quick test flight with a DSMX UMX Spitfire and all looks good.

I checked the boards - they're indeed very close. This B7 pad mentioned in vlad_vy's post moved a little but still here.

This deal is still running. I ordered one yesterday, should have it in a week or so. It appeared to be US shipping (ups).

I got mine just before Christmas, but still had no time to try it, nor even to upgrade it to deviation! :)
I was a bit suprised, because it has arrived in a DEVO 10 box, but inside it was a 12E...

Just received mine from the USA. Their website is weird currently. Price is supposed to be $75, I live in WA so I should pay ~10% sales tax, got charged only $4.88. If I ordered today, I would have paid no sales tax... On the positive side, everything works well and UcDrone even answers the phone directly if you call their US support number (which is a big plus compared to ordering directly from China)

Mine was in a box that can be either for the Devo 10 or 12e (one side of the box says 10, the other 12e

Even if the website is not clear, the Tx includes a Rx1202 receiver (and that makes the deal even better)

Received my 12e a couple of days ago. Flashed it with the nightly build of deviation for the 12e. Installed the new devo 4 in 1 module. I have been able to fly my hubsan and eachine h8 mini. When booting up there are no module errors so mostly everything is good.

There is one glitch when I go to the channel monitor for the 4 pots I have no activity showing on 3 of them and on the aux4 I only have readings of 0 and 100. It is behaving like a switch. Has anyone else tried the pots to see if they work? I was positive that I plugged them back correctly to the board.

I have attached a couple of photos of the 4 in 1 install. I put one module each on TMS and TCK, and the third wire on a pad on the board. I have assigned that module the B7 pin and it appears to be working though I don't have C22500 receivers to test with and havent tested it with DSM2.

enable-cc2500 = B7
has_pa-cc2500 = 1

Try to calibrate the TX. Gimbal settings are OK by default, AUXes are not.

Methinks your CC2500 won't work:

enable-cc2500 = B&

I think you wanted to have B7 there, and hit Shift by mistake :)

Why does the STM32 of every Devo tx I've ever seen have a sharpy mark on it?
