Hi new here.
Did a few mods and fixes on the irx-ir8m i would like to share - Sorry for the crappy blurry pictures....
Jumper v2 hall gimbals.
First thing is to desolder the cables from both the old and new gimbals. Leave the old cables connected to the main circuit board.

remove the old gimbals and enlargen the holes the sticks go through

I used a deburring tool, and did a pretty rough job....


Now it is time to modify it, so you can screw it in.
Cut off the "bumps"(dont know what to call it...And next half the holes


Eyeball the new holes, and "drill them" with a sharp and pointy knife(Make them smaller than they need to be, and correct any mistakes, when you enlargen them)



Now it is time to Solder the wires to the new gimbals. Here you can see, where the coloured wires go (Sorry for the really blurry picture, but you can tell by the distinctive shape on the hall board and the colours on the wires).

Now you can some goo on to hold the wires, and calibrate your sticks

By the way, the black tape under the bottom left pcb screw(factory defect), is to prevent the screw from shorting two tracks, and the tx not turning on...
Now you can calibrate the sticks.
Some of the sticks might be inverted(Just reverse them back in the menu), but they should register perfectly.

On mine it was a screw holding the pcb, that shorted out two tracks.
If you remove the back, then it is the screw on the bottom left(a black screw). i put tape under mine.

I will try and upload a picture.
Another thing, that can do this is if some of the pots or gimbals are storted out. It is easy to find out, just pull out all the plugs to the gimbals and pots.

i've got message "missing modules cyrf6936" today after charging lipo (i use 2s lipo connected instead of battery pack)

then i updated firmware to latest (succ), formatted flash and copied files from zip to internal flash (succ) but error still remain
my irangex has version 1.1

could high voltage (8.4V - too high?) damage transmitter module? cant see any ways to fix this issue (i googled internet very throughly) ((

Deleted see bellow? Where? I am at a usb screen that will not go away and have tried 5 times to go through the process with no luck my tx still in usb mode. How do i fix? Does anyone know the links and how to fix this usb issue? No one on fb has a clue i am hoping someone here does

Update to most recent nightly, that should possibly solve the issue. There was a bug which has been resolved which could affect module communication.

Hi. I formatted USB drive and now the Tx is not seen anymore by PC as a disk. It is seen as DFU device, but not as a disk. Can somebody help?

Good afternoon friends of the Deviation forum, I have the iRangeX IRX-IR8M control which worked perfectly with AA batteries, but I used a 650mha lipo 2s battery and it did not light anymore, I know it is not burned because it is reviewed by an electronic technician, I think it is a kind of blocking in the software, help please, thank you very much companions.
