Stock Devo 8 and Devo 8s. No extra hardware is necessary to support Spektrum.

Hello vlad_vy
I would like to know if I can use your latest firmware version (29-10-19) for the Jumper T8SG plus Carbon radio. On my radio Jumper voice is activated.

NOT FOR LOVE NOR MONEY
Deviation is dead. I contacted vlad and several others about adding the Height protocol to Devo 8, already reverse engineered and on MPM, even offered to pay them. vlad was only one to reply, no one is interested, "NOT FOR LOVE NOR MONEY" as the saying goes. Turned to OpenTX, has no touch screen, and EdgeTX is full of bugs, don't trust it. So at this time a huge step backwards.

It is typical of open source projects. OpenTX is dying, that is why EdgeTX was started.

Maybe there is a chance that vlad have the Build invironment still installed.
Frsky X v2.x is still in the nightlies, but i like the original 5.0skin and menues for touchscreen more than the nightly version.
So It would be great if Vlad could give us an final 5.0 Version with the already implemented protocols.
if not, its ok too.
Thank you vlad (specially for the XMS implementation), and all the others to be part of this cool projekt for years.
Sorry for my bad english

Anyone here able to check the PR which was merged on 12 June 2021? It broke nightly builds.

Vlad, I have the Walkera F12 TX with video screen. It is a marvel of design and engineering. Many DevationTX members have asked if Deviation v5 can be installed on the F12. Or, can its RF board be replaced with a multi protocol unit? I have Deviationinstalled on a Devo10 and a F12E. I like it!
Could we get an update from you? And some encouragement.

* Protocol e010 cc2500, from goebish
Add a new protocol for Eachine E010 using the CC2500 instead of NRF24L01
* Add frequency tuning to WFLY protocol, from goebishAdd frequency tuning option to WFLY protocol
* Read multiplexed PID values from telemetry dataFor SilverWare, optional telemetry support was added to the Bayang protocol quite some time ago. Recently, current PID settings were added to the telemetry data. This pull request makes them available via FadesA, FadesB, and FadesR. The change is backwards compatible and has no implications for older firmware which does not send these values. The PID values are sent sequentially using just two bytes. * Enable optimized dfu for all devo targets
* Add V761 protocol, from goebishProtocol for Volantex V761-1 Trainstar Mini fixed wing also works with Volantex Ranger 600 762-1 Channel 5: gyro on/off Only 3 transmitter IDs/channels, selected with Fixed ID % 3. https://www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-development/7798-volantex-v761-1-firestar-mini-protocol
* Add support for Flysky AC type telemetry, from hexfetAdds additional sensor support

The V761 protocol uses the nRF24L01 radio module. So yes, the Devo10 requires that module to be installed to support V761.

Thanks a lot! I found the 4 in 1 module and works well with V761 now with my D10!
It's pretty sad for me to entry forum this late, but still lucky to buy a second hand D10 and start fly with deviation before forum close.

Agreed - wanted to extend a personal thanks to @PhracturedBlue, @hexfet, @vlad_vy, and all of the other contributors to Deviation over the years for this Herculean effort. I still use my Devo 8s almost every week, running a 5.0.0 version from 2019 with DSMX, and it keeps working with no issues, with the original UI. Started using Deviation at version 3.x. As a software developer I understand and appreciate the blood, sweat, tears, and perseverance that went into this code base. I should have migrated to OpenTX and EdgeTX, but Deviation is just fine. I finally bought a FrSky Tandem X18 for a few helis, but I still have all of the others bound to the Devo 8s. Actually bought several 8s and Devo 12s transmitters over the years as spares. The ability to use relatively cheap transmitter hardware, which was actually pretty well designed and implemented, was huge.
@PhracturedBlue - I believe you were the initial developer on this effort - you can be proud of what was created here. All my best wishes for your future endeavors.

HexFet/PhracturedBlue - not sure if I tagged you correctly in my message above. Many thanks again.
