Yes. Devo 7e protocol modules limited to 4K. The full protocol and telemetry does not fit to 4K module.

I think it's the time to stop updating the stable v5.0.0 release. I think that no one uses it anymore, except me. Moreover, protocols in nightly builds become incompatible with the v5.0.0 release.

iRangeX iRX-IR8M can't be supported with v5.0.0, it require HAS_4IN1_FLASH support for 4in1 module.

If you need firmware for stock Devo F7, you need nightly build "devof7" firmware, not "devof7-XMS".

If you use modded DevoF7-XMS (with upgraded flash memory chip), check that you copy to transmitter filesystem "protocol" folder from firmware archive.

new to the Deviation and received a new iRangeX iRX-IR8M and the current -firmware is 2017-09-19 and while im flying it stops working and cuts in and out what firmware should i upload to stop that and will it even stop that from happening?

It's not very useful. If you have connection problems you can evaluate RF noises in 2.4GHz band.
