i just modified my devo 7e, and tested this, and it works
. very well done.
One tip since the cx-10 (and 10a) have 3 modes: the middle mode mode is a bit past halfway towards the third mode on the axis. For my cx-10a i configured it with an offset of 115, and now it switches between high rate mode & headless
. (and for my cx-10 this would mean switching between medium and high rate).
Also love the range i now get with my cx-10
. I'm testing on the parking lot of my appartment building, and with the stock remote i barely get 5m range (probably a lot of wifi interference), with my devo i haven't noticed any range issues yet XD.

SWB for speed rate (low-medium-high), FMODE for flips (you need it ON - flip - OFF - ON again - flip again), HOLD for headless, UP and DN for photo/video (or vice versa - do not remember exactly).

Here is my ini for dm007 on 7e with two extra 3x switches. It may have some defects as I am really got mixed up with testing on two devo's four new quads with test builds... But I checked it right now - it is flyable.T.N. wrote:

Sorry if that has been answered before but I couldn't find this info. Is there a config file for Cheerson CX10A? If not, do you know what is the channel configuration? Many thanks.

Thanks a lot goebish. I've tried Channel5 before but it looked like it only switched the headless ON/OFF. Am I doing something wrong?

"Rate" is a 3 modes switch on the CX-10A, 3rd mode is headless.

I see. I suppose that should work perfectly well with a 3-way switch then. How would I configure it? Thanks.

chan5 < 0 then flag= 0 (low rate)
chan5 >=0 && <50% then flag = 1 (mid rate, or high rate on cx10a)
chan5 >= 50% then flag = 2 (high rate, or headless on cx10a)

Thanks goebish.
For some reason I cannot get the 3-way switch to work for me. I am using Expo&DR template and trying to assing fixed curve to each switch value: SW0 = -90, SW1 = 0 and SW2 = 90. As a result I can only switch between one rate and the headless mode. Meaning that going from SW0 to SW1 doesn't do anything and going from SW1 to SW2 switches the headless mode ON. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I have one more question regarding setting up the Channel6. Probably a very easy fix but I can't figure it out. I can make the flips work, no problem. However when I change a switch on Ch6 it only does one flip and I need to change the position to 0 and then back to 1 to make another flip. Is there way to either:
1. Make the quad stay in the flip mode until the switch is put back from 1 to 0.
2. Make it go to the flip mode every time the state of a switch is changed - regardless if going from 0 to 1 or if going from 1 to 0 (not just when changing from 0 to 1).

Right now you've to do it manually (as you do), I'll try to replicate stock TX behavior someday, that's on my todo list

Yeah, a very long list, I know
Not a major issue for me to be honest. It was more of an exercise trying to make it work. I can always assign one of the trim switches if I want to have a similar behavior to the stock transmitter. Cheers.
EDIT: With trim switches it works kinda the same way actually. To do a flip a trim button needs to be pushed twice. I'll stick to the FMOD switch then

Hi,
I have a CX-10 with red PCB, but it doesn't have the wire antenna and is working with XN297.
Is it another new version or is it like blue one (the layout is not exactly the same) ?
No chance to see it working with deviation I guess.
Thanks.
