You can get to it via Downloads, Test Builds, [hexfet]protocol_bugs3.
I'll download the version for the Jumper. Exciting!

The test builds will remain in the same place as the first link. I must've mis-copied the link, but seem to have lost the ability to edit my posts - but there was a delete button.

The deleted post said test builds are updated. Found some test code I'd left in that would prevent binding.

Thank you for the kind offer but I do this because I like to :)

edit: now there's an edit button...maybe some maintenance going on

I tried with the test build, still not binding.I tried all fine frequencies -300 through +300 to no avail, maybe someone would like to give the Jumper a shot with the 8888397 build.

Ready to blow the dust off my Win XP machine to flash the test build to my Jumper. Will report results as soon as I have them. Fingers crossed!

Okay, thanks for testing. Need some time with the A7105 datasheet as it's my first time using it. Should have something to try later tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks Hexfet,I probably get a new bugs 3, this 1 is pretty crashed up the shell is broke and 1 motor is down but I am willing to donate it to deviation and pay for the shipping if it's reasonable if you feel you need it..

Really appreciate your effort in this hexfet.
I've tried to bind with both the Bugs 3's and the Bugs 6, without success. Gave them all a few minutes at 30mW to bind.
All 3 are in good nick, and fly well with standard Controllers.

C0ckpitvue, I don't understand your comment "I tried all fine frequencies -300 through +300 to no avail."
Is there something else I can do with the Jumper setup to test this?

I don't know how the jumper is set up but on the devo 10 when you highlight the bugs 3 press enter, the freq fine option pops up,what you do is scroll the frequencies slowly both ways down- and up+ and see if it binds to any of those frequencies,You can scroll 5 at a time and try to bind EX:245,250 ,255 -200-205 etc all the way until you hit the max where you can't go no more,I had to do that with the futaba protocol to get my xk x251 to bind.

Thanks - as the expression goes, "... and you're going to learn something today." I hadn't noticed the "Freq Tune" option after I'd accepted "Bugs 3" before.
I didn't need it for the Eachine E011 or the Hubsan X4 107L. I think I'll wait until the next version before I give it a shot.
Like your Devo 10, I can set values from -300 to +300.

You're welcome.Did you scroll the fine frequencies and try to bind it to the quad?

Since hexfet is working on a new test version, I'll hold off until that is ready before I try fine tuning the frequency.
I Know the crystal in the Eachine E010 had problems with frequency drift.
Since I have 3 Bugs that all work with each others controllers, I'm hoping that I should not need to fine tune.

Test builds are updated. The A7105 initialization is now much closer to what the captures show, even though that means writing some values the datasheet says are not valid...

I seems to have damaged the usb connector on the Jumper T8SG.
I won't be able to load and test new versions supporting the Bugs 3 until I fix it.
I'll be back as soon as I sort it out. Not a good time for this ... Sorry guys.

Stupid question, but was the Bug3 bind procedure proceed before to capture data ? (as far I remember with this one, you have press & hold the red button while turning the radio and then the quad .... something like this)

I can help also to test.... I have the MJX Bugs3 around the corder ....
