I don't understand how it possible. Can you provide original "hardware.ini" file?

Just got mine today.Knobs for the top pots missing.... Flashed the latest software without problems and after that the return to neutral does not seem too bad with mine . Hope range is OK too... But one problem, when I turn it on after installing latest software it says CYRF6936 chip is missing??? All protocols using this one are marked with a * ???

I have not done anything yet. I arrived today and I did the first range tests. Very poor compared to my 10 o'clock. But aesthetically I like the idea of ​​a fpv screen positioned above.

How do you do that?

It sounds like your ext button is sticking. Does it make a clicking sound when you push it? If it is stuck then your screen when you power it up would be solid black and be in the transmitter would be in the wrong mode.

Reddog--thanks for the reply. My TX's LCD will not light up and the USB will not appear on the computer screen as a removable disk. I believe that my TX has hardware issues. Bang good has suspended sales because of all the problems with the TX. I am glad that you got a good one.

Do not try to use DeviationUpload for devo7e-256, T8SG and IR8M, it will not work. Use Dfuse Upgrade Tools v2.31.

It sounds like you might have other issues besides the one I had. Regardless:
With the controller plugged into windows via the usb cable, Hold the enter button down while turning on the controller.
This should illuminate a USB logo on the main screen.
It should come up in the drive menu as an external drive.
Right click on the drive and select format drive.
That's it...
I would suggest coping the folder to the desk top before you do that though just in case.

How do you reformat the USB drive? My screen is black when I plug the USB cable--it will download ok. I have loaded 2.14 firmware successfully--after a few minutes the TX will stop working and then start running through the menu's non-stop. Where can I find the original IR8M program to reload. It was working ok.

I don't understand how it possible. Probably both buttons connected in parallel, one side is legal connections, other side is illegal connection. Check wiring and PCB tracks for "Left" and "Exit" buttons.

by pressing the exit key, it works correctly as exit

PS I only really bought this TX to fly my Tiny models around the house during our Winter time here in the UK.

Banggood did the same to me Stefan. Not allowed to post even though I purchased the product. I requested a new transmitter but they appeared to mis-understand my request and sent a replacement gimbal instead. I have purchased a couple thousand dollars worth of merchandise from Banggood over the last 6 years, I'm very disappointed in their customer support on this issue. iRangeX let Banggood down and they in turn let us down. Going forward, I will only consider buying low cost items from them.

What happen if you press "Exit" button?

Not sure about soldering, at the moment, though.

We have now tested 3 of these remotes. Unfortunately, all with the same result.

The RX module is very very bad. FrskyX is not working properly.

The range is very low. (100 feet)

We can only buy this remote maintenance. They do not bring good results. Unfortunately ... we are very sad about it.

Always problems with the range at Frsky.
